Q: How to Submit an application form?
A: We accept online applications through our registration link, which will open on Oct 4th, 2023.

Q: What are the minimum criteria for the incubation program?
A: The following are the minimum criteria for the incubator program submission;
  a. India-based game developer
  b. Legal entity in India
  c. Student teams from India can submit without any registered legal entity.

Q: How involved will KRAFTON be in the creative process?
A: You maintain your creative independence. We are around to offer advice and mentorship from industry veterans and financial cover for testing.

Q: How long does the program last?
A: 6 months to 1 year (can be extended for a few exceptional cases)

Q: Do I get to keep the intellectual property right?
A: Yes, you own the intellectual property rights.

Q: Is this limited to developers in India?
A: Yes

Q: Do I have to have a large studio or business to receive financial support?
A: No. Individuals and small teams can apply – we want to make it fair for everyone and treat all projects equally, no matter who you are.

Q: When will I hear back from KRAFTON India after applying?
A: We’ll aim to reply within 30 days after you submit. It might take a little more time if many folks apply at once. We’ll contact you if we need extra details or more time to check out your project.

Q: Can I organize a call with KRAFTON India to discuss my project?
A: We can’t do phone or video calls because we might have many applications. Our team will look closely at all the stuff you send. If we need to know more, we’ll message you.

Q: When do I get my grant amount if my project is chosen to receive a grant?
A: We usually give the money in stages, spread over time and based on agreed-upon milestones.

Q: What kind of games does the program support?
A: The program backs games that boost game development in India and welcomes everyone to join in. We embrace game diversity, including various genres, gameplay mechanics, themes, art styles, business models, and game platforms. We are not supporting applicants with Real Money Games (RMG).

Q: Does the program only support mobile games?
A: Nope, we are not restricted to any specific platform.

Q: What is the amount of funding an applicant can expect?
A: Applicant to apply for a financial support amount ranging between 50,000 USD to 150,000 USD, with potential for adjustment based on specific requirements.

Q: In which language application should be submitted?
A: All applications should be in English.

Q: Who will be reviewing the applications?
A: All the applications will be reviewed by the review committee.

Q: What will be the shortlisting criteria?
A: We evaluate each project based on the following parameters.

Q: Does this program include Publishing?
A: The Grant amount is recoupable and doesn’t include Publishing. We might chat about publishing later on, but it’s not a sure thing.
